Description

Starke Level R Heavy Cut Compound is a professional-grade marine correction compound engineered for aggressive removal of heavy oxidation, chalking, deep sanding scratches, and severe surface defects from gelcoat and marine painted finishes. Designed as Step 1 Correct in the Starke Surface Restore System, Level R provides strong initial cutting performance while progressively refining the surface for a cleaner finish.

Level R uses advanced hybrid abrasive technology that begins with an aggressive cut and gradually refines as it is worked. This allows the compound to remove P600 to P800 sanding scratches and years of oxidation while minimizing excessive compounding haze and swirl marks.

Designed primarily for rotary polishing with a white wool cutting pad, Level R is well suited for serious restoration work on boats, yachts, RVs, and other gelcoat or painted surfaces. Its silicone-free formula also makes it suitable for surfaces that will later receive ceramic coatings, sealants, waxes, or additional polishing steps.
