Starke Elevate Medium Cut Compound is a professional marine polishing compound designed to remove moderate oxidation, sanding scratches, swirls, and surface defects while refining gelcoat and painted finishes to a high level of clarity. Designed as Step 2 Refine in the Starke Surface Restore System, Elevate follows heavy correction and prepares the surface for final polishing, ceramic preparation, or protection.

Elevate is formulated to remove P1200 to P1500 sanding scratches while providing enough refinement to leave a smooth, glossy finish. Its abrasive technology balances cutting performance with finishing ability, making it effective for correcting moderate defects without leaving the aggressive haze commonly associated with heavier compounds.

The versatile formula can be used with rotary or random-orbital polishers and works with wool, foamed-wool, or medium-grade foam polishing pads. On many light-colored surfaces, Elevate can produce enough clarity and gloss to significantly reduce the amount of additional finishing required.
