Starke Blaze Hybrid Heavy Cut Compound is a high-performance marine cutting compound engineered for aggressive correction of heavy oxidation, sanding scratches, surface defects, and weathered gelcoat or painted finishes. Designed as the Step 1 correction compound in the Starke Surface Restore System, Blaze delivers powerful material removal while finishing to a high level of clarity to reduce the amount of refinement required afterward.

Blaze uses a combination of differently sized abrasives that break down evenly during polishing, providing strong initial cutting action while progressively refining the surface. This hybrid abrasive system allows professional detailers and OEM builders to tackle severe surface defects without sacrificing finish quality.

The formula uses a non-carcinogenic base with enhanced lubricity to provide smooth buffing characteristics and extended working performance. When paired with a wool cutting pad and rotary polisher, Blaze can remove heavy oxidation and sanding marks while restoring gloss, color depth, and clarity to marine gelcoat and painted surfaces.
