Each 32oz bottle makes 1 gallon of full-strength cleaner (up to 4 gallons diluted), giving you professional power and excellent value. Step 1 is formulated to lift heavy stains, dirt, and oxidation from weathered teak effectively, using a safer formula than harsh caustic cleaners.

With built-in corrosion inhibitors to help protect surrounding metal hardware and fittings, Pristine TEAK Step 1 is designed for fast, professional-grade results without the damage or frustration often caused by overly aggressive products.

Use full strength for deep restoration or dilute for seasonal and routine maintenance. For the ultimate freshly sanded, golden finish, follow with Pristine TEAK Step 2 Brightener.

Mixing Ratios
•  Full Strength (Restoration): 32oz = 1 gallon
•  Seasonal Maintenance: 32oz = 2 gallons

Directions for Use (Step 1: Cleaner)

Note: Wear gloves and eye protection before use.

 

Prepare Solution: Mix desired ratio (see Mixing
Directions) in a clean bucket.

Apply Product: Wet teak and spread Pristine TEAK –
Step 1 evenly using a deck brush, scrubbing pad, or low-pressure sprayer.

Dwell Time: Allow 2–5 minutes. Do not allow surface
to dry.

Agitate: Gently scrub with a medium pad against the
grain to lift stains, dirt, and grime.

Reapply and repeat until teak is fully cleaned to desired
results.

Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water, avoiding
prolonged contact with metal cleats, scuppers, and fittings.

Mixing Directions: (Dilution Ratio per 32oz Bottle)

Note: One 32oz bottle makes 1 gallon full-strength,
or up to 4 gallons when diluted for maintenance.

·     Annual Cleaning (1:3):
Mix 32oz with 96oz water → Makes 1 gallon full-strength solution.

·     Seasonal Cleaning (1:7): Mix 16oz with 112oz water →
Makes 2 gallons solution.

·     Maintenance (1:15): Mix 8oz with 120oz water → Makes 4 gallons solution.
