The Mirka 5" 33-Hole Grip Interface Pad provides additional flexibility when sanding rounded surfaces, contours, curves, and other areas where a standard backing pad may feel too rigid.

The interface pad is positioned between the sander’s backing pad and the grip sanding disc. Its soft 10mm construction allows the abrasive to follow the shape of the work surface more effectively, helping produce a softer and more controlled sanding result.

Ideal for Curves and Rounded Surfaces:

Using an interface pad can help improve abrasive contact across curved or uneven surfaces while reducing the aggressive action of the sanding disc. This makes it especially useful when greater control and surface conformability are required.

The 33-hole configuration supports dust extraction when used with compatible perforated or net abrasives. This 5-inch interface pad is recommended for use with 5-inch Mirka PROS and DEROS sanders.
