Mirka Abralon® 5" Grip is a patented, multifunctional abrasive developed for sanding both smooth and profiled surfaces. Its flexible construction allows the abrasive to follow curves, angles, edges, and contours while producing a refined, consistent sanding pattern.

The cushioned design helps distribute sanding pressure more evenly across the surface, minimizing the risk of unwanted pressure marks. This makes Abralon particularly effective in areas where conventional sanding discs may be too rigid.

Wet or Dry Sanding by Machine or Hand:

Abralon’s flexible weave allows water and air to pass freely through the abrasive, making it suitable for both wet and dry sanding. It can be used with a compatible machine or by hand, providing excellent versatility across a wide variety of sanding and finishing applications.

Abralon is especially useful for refining contoured surfaces, smoothing finishes, and preparing surfaces for polishing. Its grip backing attaches securely to compatible hook-and-loop backing pads while allowing fast and convenient disc changes.
