Its high-strength molded urethane construction helps absorb and minimize heat transfer while allowing the plate to flex across flat, curved, and contoured surfaces.
The flexible beveled edge helps reduce accidental contact between the backing plate and the working surface while making polishing pads easier to remove. Reinforced internal steel construction provides strength around the threaded connection for dependable performance during compounding, polishing, and finishing.
